Bunnings sausage sizzle for Burma huge success

The Australian community responded with overwhelming generosity to Bunnings and Save the Children's Burma Response Day last Friday.

Over $135,000 was raised as the people of Australia and New Zealand ate for a good cause!

Bunnings, the leader in home improvement and gardening supplies, hosted the sausage sizzle at all of its 185 Australian stores plus 35 stores in New Zealand.

Every single cent raised from the event has been donated directly to Save the Children’s Myanmar (Burma) Cyclone Appeal.

Bunnings contributed a further $45,000, taking the overall amount raised to an impressive $180,000.

Save the Children is extremely grateful to Bunnings for providing such invaluable support to our relief work in Burma.

Thank you to every one who took the time to visit a Bunnings store on Friday to donate to the Myanmar (Burma) Cyclone Appeal.
