Games can be educational and developmental but mainly they are just fun.

But for some children there are no fun and games.

We have produced a booklet (download booklet here ) to illustrate the difference between the games children play and the real life issues that face the world’s poorest and most vulnerable children.

Over 600 million children world-wide live in absolute poverty - an estimated one in four.

More than 10 million children die each year although most of those deaths could be prevented; 77 million children are still out of school, 60 percent of them girls; 150 million children suffer from malnutrition and HIV and AIDS is spreading with catastrophic speed.

The childhood of millions continues to be devastated by hazardous and exploitative child labour; the sale and trafficking of children, including adolescents, and other forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence.

With your help we can provide programs which will educate, support and empower today’s children at risk and provide them with the life skills, security and motivation to become tomorrow’s self sufficient adults.

Please support us in our appeal to address these issues and more and help give children in the developing world a chance to enjoy their childhoods.
