All around the state, people are planning a range of fundraising activities for Save the Children. Whether you want to get together with a group of friends or join a local fundraising group, the possibilities are endless. Why not use your imagination and creativity to come up with some more ideas?
Our annual Badge Day is held each year during Save the Children Week 1st – 7th May. In 2008, we will be our collecting donations on Friday, 2nd May in the city and surrounding suburbs. Please contact Kristina Rozek on (08) 8338 1777 if you are interested in helping.
The “Fun-raiser” Pins are a popular fundraising project in schools, community organisations and offices. The pins (or badges as they are sometimes called) are purchased for $2.00 and then sold to students and the wider community for $2.50. From the sale of each pin, 50 cents is kept and the rest of the money is returned to Save the Children. By purchasing the pins, you will be helping disadvantaged children around the world.

Save the Children offers the free speaker service Speaking Out for schools and community organisations. Our trained school speakers are available to bring to life the issues and real-life stories of children around the world. The presentations are practical, fun and memorable, as well as supporting curriculum teaching. Please contact Jennie Hammet on (08) 8338 1777 for more information. Refer to our Speaking Out page for more information and school resources.
As a member you can show an ongoing commitment to Save the Children’s work and have the opportunity to help shape the direction of the organisation.
