| Photo essay: Pakistan floods by Ian Woolverton |
|
I had time to put together this short photo essay on the Pakistan floods from my time in the nation's southern province of Sindh. The photographs help illustrate the scale of the disaster, and Save the Children's response to the floods. In Pakistan, I took a lot more photos I would have liked to publish since they help illustrate the amazing work of my local Pakistani colleagues. But due to concerns about security we cannot show images of local staff at work. Needless to say they're doing a terrific job in difficult conditions. I wish them well as they continue their work for the good of humanity. |
