Education can be a girl's passport to a different life. It can protect her from exploitation, give her a chance to get a better job and help her break the cycle of poverty.
When a girl goes to school, she has less chance of becoming a child labourer, a sex worker or a child bride.
How we're educating girls
Save the Children helps girls to access quality education in some of the toughest places in the world including Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria. We:
- Support vulnerable girls to stay in school by supplying books, uniforms and tuition fees.
- Train teachers to make sure girls can access quality education.
- Provide vocational training for girls who have missed out on school so they can get a decent, well-paying job or open their own business.
But every day, poverty pushes more girls away from education and into a life of child labour, child marriage and sexual slavery ─ and they urgently need your help.
Please give today and help girls rewrite their future.
Your support will help vulnerable girls stay in school and save them from a life of exploitation and poverty.
