Sierra Leone In Sierra Leone, the aim is to influence the Government to develop and support appropriate health service funding for free health care. As part of the campaign we support and train Village Health Committees/Health Management Committees, School Health Clubs and community organisations as a way of improving the communities' involvement in health related activities.
TanzaniaIn Tanzania, the campaign is focused on ensuring the Government increases resources for tackling child survival. The campaign is also working with communities to remove the barriers that deter families from seeking health care.
Democratic Republic of CongoIn the DRC, campaign activities, particularly advocacy and popular mobilization, will be at community, provincial and national level in support of communities we work with. We will also be working in North Kivu and Kasai province on nutrition, food security and newborn and reproductive health.
ZambiaIn Zambia, the campaign is aiming to use mass media involvement to create strong community awareness around health and health workers.
