They have recently strengthened their support of our work and have pledged $50,000 to help young Indigenous Australians in Save the Children's Alternative Education Program based in Glebe. This donation will provide these young people with the skills to gain further education and employment. Without a driving licence many of these young people are unable to secure work, not only due to a lack of transport but also because of not having any personal identification. Apache Energy has also been a significant donor towards our emergency appeals for the 2010 Pakistan Floods and more recently donating $150,000 towards the Japan Earthquake appeal. |  | Aussie Gold Spring Water

Through their cause-related marketing initiative, Aussie Gold donates 20c from every bottle of Spring Water sold. These small donations add up to go a long way and the ongoing, regular funding can ensure that Save the Children can continue to ensure children have a safe and happy childhood. |
| Australian Country Spinners Australian Country Spinners, through their Paton's wool brand, have been integral sponsors of Save the Children's 2011 Born to Knit campaign. Their assistance has been crucial to the success of the campaign and has involved financial donations, expertise and logistical support. In addition to this, their support has also included donating yarns of wool for our Born to Knit kits, and offering the chance for schools to win prize money in an exciting knitting competition. Australian Country Spinners support will ensure that children in India, Laos and Cambodia will have a better chance at warding off deadly illnesses such as pneumonia, by keeping warm with these knitted woollen blankets. |  | Bulgari As part of the initiatives scheduled for 2009 to celebrate the 125th anniversary of its foundation, Bulgari has chosen to support Save the Children's Rewrite the Future campaign with the objective of raising 10 million euro by the end of 2009. Bulgari has also produced a unique silver ring with the Save the Children logo engraved inside. $90 from the sale of each ring will be donated to Save the Children. |  | Financial Wisdom Financial Wisdom has supported the work of Save the Children for over 10 years through their annual Study Tour. Delegates are encouraged to donate to Save the Children which Financial Wisdom generously matches dollar for dollar. Last year's conference raised over $26,000 which will be directed to our Children's Emergency Fund, ensuring that we can respond immediately when a disaster strikes. | | | Footprints The Footprints Network is an alliance of online e-commerce companies making a difference with a solution that supports sustainable community programs. Footprints believe there is a moral obligation to give a little back to the communities in which we travel. People are able to simply choose a project to contribute to when they purchase a policy with World Nomads Travel Insurance. Save the Children has been a recipient of donations for many years supporting projects both internationally and in Australia. | | | Ikea IKEA is the largest global corporate partner for Save the Children and UNICEF, investing over 125 million Euros in social programs. In Australia, IKEA's support included donations through the annual Soft Toy campaign whereby a donation is made to Save the Children for each toy sold in Nov and Dec, over 600 toys have been re-gifted and delivered as part of this campaign to children in Australian programs, over $90,000 worth of Save the Children Christmas cards over the last 3 years have been purchased for sale in NSW, VIC and WA stores, and over $7,000 worth gift in kind donations have been made. Kent is committed to improving the lives of children around the world and for every move that is booked through their website they'll donate $10 to help children get a better start in life. They have guaranteed to raise at least $20,000 for Save the Children in the next 12 months. | | NAB Save the Children has been one of NAB's local community partners since 2009. Through the partnership, Save the Children & NAB work together on worthwhile projects that address key social issues. The relationship is underpinned by staff engagement. Save the Children receive significant human resources support through the NAB Employee Volunteer Program. Consequently, NAB staff are provided with diverse and rewarding community experiences. To date volunteers have helped prepare food for the breakfast program at St Albans, collected thumb prints for advocacy campaigns, sewn blankets for Knit One Save One and prepared meals at Glebe Youth Centre. In addition, NAB staff have provided a huge variety of skills to enhance the resources within our offices. In total last year over 400 NAB employees volunteered with Save the Children. |  | One Dollar Day 1$day is a simple and inclusive fundraising initiative which has launched its inaugural campaign. On 1$day, 20 October 2011, the mission is to collectively reduce the global inequities in children's health and education by engaging everyone in an affordable and highly effective fundraising event. One day every year they will ask everyone in the world who can, to give just $1 for those who can't. Save the Children is the principle recipient for funds raised this year, which will be used to build health clinics in Laos. So mark October 20 in your diary, go to www.onedollarday.org and be a part of this powerful collective effort to make a difference to children's lives. | | Palais Theatre Palais Theatre has been a partner with Save the Children since 2009 and have shown the many ways in which an organisation can support our work. Including: quarterly company donations towards our Deadly Blokes and Kids program in the East Kimberley, a staff Workplace Giving program with a staggering 46% of employees donating (average participation is usually around 10%), concert collections for the Haiti Earthquake and Pakistan Flood Appeals totalling over $10,000, and last year, Palais Theatre Management sent staff member Aimee Chapman to Kununurra, WA to act as a musical mentor as part of Save the Children's Deadly Blokes & Kids program. Aimee spent a week in the East Kimberley town teaching program participants how to use Pro Tools, a digital audio music program, which she used to lead music workshops with the kids and helped them use their new skills to record a song. |  | PricewaterhouseCoopers PricewaterhouseCoopers joined Save the Children in 2007 making Save the Children their first international charity partner. Since partnering with Save the Children, PricewaterhouseCoopers’ support has facilitated educational development in Mozambique, building and renovating schools and providing much needed supplies and teacher training. | | | Staedtler Staedtler has united globally to support Save the Children through the World Kids Colouring Day. Now into its fourth successful year in Australia the campaign invites children in Australia and around the world to colour and sell their most beautiful works to help other children in need. The funds raised in Australia will support Save the Children’s Australian programs. | | | St.George Foundation In 1999, St.George Foundation donated $50,000 towards Save the Children's Playbus in the Blacktown area of Sydney and have continued to support our Playbus program ever since. To celebrate their 21st anniversary in 2010, the Foundation provided further funding for Save the Children to set up a Playbus in Shepparton, Victoria. This year, St.George Foundation has supported our relief efforts in far north Queensland, ensuring that families and children were looked after following Cyclone Yasi and the devastating flooding. Our national Playbus program provides children vital learning in their early years which they might otherwise miss out on, and St.George Foundation's support is greatly appreciated. | | | The Planet Wheeler Foundation The Planet Wheeler Foundation generously supports our Primary Health Care programs in Luang Prabang and Sayaboury Provinces, and they recently made a new three-year commitment which will have a significant impact on the health status of women and children in the region. The Sayaboury Primary Health Care project has assisted the Government of Laos to reach two Millennium Development Goals (for infant and maternal mortality) at the provincial level and in 2007 was awarded a United Nations Development Award. The Luang Prabang program will build upon the successes of the Sayaboury project and activities will be based on the lessons learned from this successful model. Significant progress has already been made in Nan District, with basic infrastructure complete, some in-service training provided to staff and a mobile clinic program established.
