You are able to complete your bouncing at any time thats suits you, as long as your bouncing target is completed by November 30th. Below are 6 easy steps to help you get Bouncing! 1- Register & Choose your Big Bounce There are two ways you can sign up to participate in the Big Bounce event: -Register over the phone or via email by contacting Save the Children at... or email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Once you have given us all your Big Bounce details we will send you a sponsorship booklet (link). This sponsorship booklet will allow you to record who has sponsored you and how much money they have pledged to your Big Bounce cause.
Because this is your Big Bounce, you can choose however you want to bounce, but remember to have fun! Refer to our Ways To Bounce webpage for some fun and creative Big Bouncing ideas!
2- Set your Fundraising and Big Bounce TargetOnce you have registered, it is time to set yourself a target. So decide how many bounces you want to reach and how much money you want to raise. Once you have decided how you plan to help Aussie kids in need, you can enter those numbers into your online Everyday Hero profile (link) or into your sponsorship booklet. Setting yourself a Big Bounce target is important because it demonstrates to your supporters that you are dedicated to help Australian children in need in Save the Children's Big Bounce event.
3- Get sponsored:To raise money for Aussie children in need, you will need to get your Big Boucne adventure sponsored by friends and family. You can do this by asking for a single donation for you participating in the Big Bounce (EG: Mum gives you $30 for reaching your bounce target) or you can ask to get sponsored for each individual bounce you achieve throughout the event (EG: $1 for every bounce on a trampoline). All of us here at Save the Children understands that it can often be difficult asking people for money. Don’t fear, we are here to help! We have created a Tips and Hints page found in the Big Bounce online Toolkit. Feel free to follow these instructions to ensure you get the sponsorship numbers you deserve!
4- Spread the word:Your Big Bounce adventure is something you do not want to keep a secret! So let yourself Be Seen by telling your friends, family and members of the community all about your brilliant ‘Big Bounce’. You can communicate your Big Bounce message by contacting your local media (ie: Leader magazine), email your Everyday Hero profile link to your friends, online networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter or you could even hold your very own Big Bounce Fuindraising event. But most importantly, all of us here at Save the Children want to hear about your Big Bounce adventure. So tell us how your bounce is going via Facebook, Twitter or you can even show us by posting a video on Youtube.
4- Complete your Big Bounce adventure:It is time to get bouncing and complete your ‘Big Bounce’ adventure, (remembering to have fun)! 6 Collect the sponsorship funds and donate to the Big Bounce: There are two ways to donate your funds to the Big Bounce campaign. 1. Sponsors can use the quick and easy process of donating with their credit cards online, by connecting to your Everyday Hero profile and donating their money directly to you. Let your friends know that donating online saves you and your donors a lot of time and hastle and by donating online they will be emailed a receipt which they can use for a tax claim.
It is a great idea to ask someone to film or photograph your Big Bounce so Save the Children and all your friends can see how you have helped Aussie kids. Upload the video or photos and post it on anyone of our online sites such as FB (link) Twitter (link), YouTube (link) and you can even email it/them to us at
