Fundraising Ideas
The Big BounceBelow are a number of creative fundraising tips, designed to help you reach your donating target!

Bounce at school day:

With your principal or Student representative committee, choose a day at school where for a gold coin donation every student can bring their favourite bouncing ball or toy. You can even make the day more exciting by having members of each class demonstrate at a school assembly how they are going to participate in the Big Bounce.

Casual clothes day:

With your principal or Student Representative Committee, choose a day at school where students can go to school in casual clothes or their favourite footy or soccer uniform for a cold coin donation.

Cake store:

Each individual class room at school sets up a cake store during recess or lunch. Students bring cakes to school and then during recess or lunch you can purchase the cakes made and all the money raised goes towards your Big Bounce. You can even have a cake store with a difference, with all the cakes cooked using the ‘Big Bounce’ theme. Ask your parents to cook round, ball like goodies such as rum Balls and other round cakes or cookies (Be creative and decorate the cakes into sport balls, such as a soccer ball or basketball).

School dance called the ‘Bouncy Ball’:

Work with your student representative committee and school teachers, to hold a school dance. Have the dance themed as a bouncy theme and each student can dress in their own ‘Big Bounce’ costume such as sports uniform. Not only are school dances lots of fun, but if people pay a gold coin donation to participate, the dance can raise a lot of money.

Big Bounce Party:

Ask your parents if you could hold a Big Bounce party. This would be the perfect opportunity for all of your friends to have fun and watch you complete your big bounce, with your friends and family donating at the party. You can also encourage your friends to take part in the Big Bounce and raise money to.

Trivia Night:

This is a really fun idea. With help from the school’s SRC committee and Parents of Friends Society, you can organise a trivia night where the students writes the question for the adults to answer. Each team has children and parents, or you can have children versus parents.  Don’t forget to have prizes for the winning team with parents paying a certain amount of money to enter in the trivia.

Bounce at work/school day:

Speak with a friend, colleague or school teacher to see if you can raise enough money for them to sit on a stress ball (link to photo) at work or school all day. Start with asking with how much money it would` take for them to sit on the stress ball for an entire day and then once you have both agreed on a target, start raising that money!
