World Kids Colouring Day is on again - so off we go into the colourful world of comics!

World Kids Colouring Day takes place on May the 6th each year. A global initiative introduced by STAEDTLER, World Kids Colouring Day encourages children around the world to use their creativity to help children in need. Save the Children has been the official charity for World Kids Colouring Day for the past five years and in 2012 the theme is ‘Comic Heroes'.

A comic is a story told in a series of pictures with a narrative text and sometimes, speech bubbles. The one thing all comic heroes have in common is that they use their super powers to make the world a better place. And that's what you can do too. On World Kids Colouring Day, you can use your creativity to create your own comic - you'll be helping to make our world a better place.

World Kids Colouring Day is on May 6th every year, but it doesn't have to be just on this day - taking part is far more important.

Once again, we're calling on all teachers, educators and parents to organise a World Kids Colouring Day event at their school, kindergarten or even at home. Simply by colouring in, your kids can raise money for less fortunate Australian children. It's easy. All you need to do is:
1. Register by 30 April 2012 to receive a FREE starter kit (if you are a school/organisation) including info material & STAEDTLER coloured pencils to inspire your students' colouring activities.
2. Get your kids colouring and raising money.

3. Donate money raised to support the work we do with children across Australia.

Donation Champions

From all donations collected, STAEDTLER will recognise the highest donation nationally with a great STAEDTLER colouring set valued at $500. Also, all donations totaling more than $500 will be rewarded with a STAEDTLER colouring set valued at $100. Please ensure all donations are deposited by 1 June 2012 to be considered for donations champion recognition. If you are interested in becoming a donation champion please register online today.
