  All Shops have raffles/stalls annually (Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day & Christmas - depending on the Shop)

• Branch Council meetings
  

  The Branches Council Meeting is held every 2nd Wednesday of the month (except in January & December). Members of the Council take part in supporting QLD Programs, White Flame and Fundraising Events.

• The Gap Branch Events
  

  Soup Luncheon held in July (delightful hot homemade soups & sweets with a guest speaker)
  Fashion Parade held in October (latest fashion from Millers with Cake stall)
  Mother's Day Craft & Cake stall held in April & May (local shopping areas of The Gap & Keppera)

Volunteering in Queensland

Programs

Save the children runs many programs throughout Australia. Some specific programs run in Queensland are; Mobile Play Scheme, Future Parents Program and Finding My Magic.

State Manager

Jason Ware

Jason Ware has been with Save the Children for two years and is the state manager for both Queensland and South Australia. Jason has extensive experience in the not for profit area including work for Cerebral Palsy League of Queensland and Department of Families, Youth and Community Care - Marsden Families Program. During his time at Save the Children Jason has focused on the effective management and development of Programs for disadvantaged children in Queensland and South Australia, Retail Operations (24 retail stores), Fundraising Events and Community Engagement initiatives.
