Make 2018 a better year

19 January 2018

As we set sail into a new year, many of us are considering how we might make a positive impact in an increasingly complex world.

It's a tricky question. So, we decided to seek the opinions of those to whom it matters most. Among other curly questions, we asked this group of Melbourne primary schoolers what they might do this year to help make the world a better place.
Among the bright (and sometimes funny) suggestions were to:

•    Spend less time on our electronic devices.
•    Be nice and set an example for others to be nice.
•    Make houses for everyone in the world so they don’t have to sleep on the streets
•    Spread some awareness of the challenging things happening around the world.

Who said that kids didn’t have the life experience to offer adults some handy advice?
