Save the Children in Queensland has a proud and long history of helping children to reach their full potential.

We first began working in Brisbane in 1919, to help children in Eastern Europe recovering from World War I. Today, we run a range of programs that improve the lives of children in Queensland. From our two domestic and family violence refuges, which have been running for more than thirty years, to our mobile playgroups which run in women’s correctional facilities, each of our Queensland programs aims to protect children and prevent abuse and neglect.

To support our Queensland programs, we have op shops in convenient locations across the state and a variety of exciting fundraising events throughout the year.
