Escalating conflict across the Middle East and the wider region is putting children at grave risk. Nearly 200 children have been killed in the first five days, according to official and media reports - the equivalent of more than six classrooms full of children.

Many others across the region have already paid the heaviest price with their lives.

Across the region, the places where children learn, live and play have come under attack. Families are being uprooted. Schools are being used as shelters. Essential services are being cut off.

We are responding to the latest strikes in Lebanon and our teams are working around the clock to assess the situation and scale our response as needed.
