Bringing Foxy to life

27 November 2017, Action for Change

Turning drawings into reality.

"Foxy is smart, and a little bit silly. She can see invisible things and has an acute sense of smell."

This is how seven-year-old Joseph – from Adelaide – describes the cute fox illustration he created as part of IKEA’s toy competition.

Joseph's vision was chosen out of 70,000 entries from around the world to be turned into a real-life IKEA toy.

The competition, run by IKEA each year, promotes the love of play that is so often lost for children who are forced to grow up too fast. This year, all proceeds from the sale of Foxy will go to Save the Children.

Joseph is pretty excited to bring Foxy to life. “I want to share Foxy with the world,” he says.

Foxy is available in IKEA stories now. Get yours now, and help give more children around the world the childhood they deserve.

Stay up to date on how Save the Children is creating a world where every child has a safe and happy childhood
