To protect children everywhere, we work in some of the toughest places in the world
Save the Children works in Australia, the Pacific and around the world to protect children from abuse and neglect, provide access to healthcare and education and to assist children in times of emergency.
Where we work Internationally
As a global organisation, in 2018 Save the Children directly reached more than 40 million children in 116 countries.
Our international work spans countries in
Africa,
Pacific Islands,
South East Asia,
South Central Asia and the
Middle East.
Where we work in Australia
Despite Australia's wealth and high standard of living, many children struggle to reach their potential because they don't have access to education, healthcare and protection services. From early learning programs which help newly arrived migrant and refugee children settle into Australia, to initiatives that help young people transition out of youth detention, Save the Children works to ensure the rights of all children are upheld. We work across Australia in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, South Australia and Tasmania.
Here's just a glimpse into how your support has helped us change the story for children around the world.
