M.Y Van (Mobile Youth Van) is a youth education program that offers alternative education for youth and social activities such as music events, creative programs and sporting competitions. Our Programs
The programs we run in Australia focus on reaching, engaging and providing support for all children regardless of background, location or circumstances. Working in partnership with local communities, government, other NGOs, community and advocacy groups, corporate partners and individual donors we can provide more effective support through a collaborative approach.
Being fully mobile, our
youth education program M.Y. Van enables us to reach young people in areas where support is limited or may not otherwise be available to them. M.Y.van is used for a variety of purposes including:
- As an alternative classroom
- As an engagement service to help get young people to get off the streets and reduce anti-social behaviour
- For running school holiday programs, youth festivals and sports events
- Running workshops such as creative arts and Aboriginal language preservation
We are also able to provide alternative education for youth by taking an innovative approach using music, digital media and sport.
