Youth Protection Program
Our
Youth Protection Program takes a targeted and collaborative approach to ensure more appropriate support reaches the right young people, at the right time. By predicting or identifying potential at-risk young people who may become caught up in the juvenile justice system, we can intervene early and help guide them in a different direction.
Working alongside government departments, local councils, schools, the police, community organisations and service providers, like health & social workers, we can support these at-risk young people more effectively and efficiently through:
- Focused collaboration
- Better information sharing and communication
- A more coordinated approach to youth work
- Genuine partnerships with young people
- Shared outcomes
In addition to our youth protection program, we also run other youth-focused programs. One of these is
M.Y. Van. M.Y. Van engages youth in regional and remote areas and provides them with access to activities and resources they may not otherwise have had access to including fun, interactive games, music, digital media and sport.
