A charitable bequest in your will to Save the Children is a wonderful way to ensure you can continue to support some of our world's most deprived children. As these inspirational supporters prove:
Rosemary Allsop spent her working life as a teacher, and was dedicated to a healthier future for children. Rosemary chose to contribute a gift in her Will to Save the Children Australia. Her gift has been used to build a new health clinic in Laos for around 4,000 children and their mums.
Liz is a teacher by profession and has always had passion for teaching Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in remote areas. She and her late husband Leo had a love of the outback and the Western Desert. She taught 'bush education' for over thirty years in the Papunya settlement and all over the Northern Territory She had to learn many Aboriginal languages and developed close relationships with indigenous communities and a great respect for their culture.
"The work of Save the Children in remote areas is so important for the education of Aboriginal children and their communities. I am happy to know that I can honor my late husband's memory by leaving a gift in my Will. It is a continuation of what we have done all our working lives and what we believe."
