We’re making a change to how we process your regular donation, shifting from a monthly cycle to a four-weekly cycle. This means you’ll now make 13 donations per year instead of 12, helping us raise additional vital funds to support children in Australia and around the world. Why are you changing the donation cycle?

Moving from a monthly to a four-weekly donation schedule helps us raise additional funds to reach more children with health, education, and protection programs.  This small change means you can provide even greater support throughout the year to children in most need.

What happens to the extra donation I’ll be making each year?

Your additional contribution will go directly towards funding critical programs that provide food, medical care, education, and emergency relief  for children. Every dollar raised makes a difference.

Why wasn’t I contacted about this change?

We are informing all supporters about this change via email, mail and SMS. If you didn’t receive a message from us, it may be due to outdated contact details or a communication preference. If you’d like to update your details, you can do so online , or by contacting our Supporter Care team.

Is this change legal?

Yes, this change aligns with the terms and conditions agreed upon when you first set up your regular donation. We remain committed to transparency and ethical fundraising practices. If you have any concerns, please contact our team.

Why am I receiving this email or letter when I’ve opted out of communications?

We only send essential updates about your donation to ensure you’re informed about any changes. If you would like to discuss your communication preferences, please contact us.

How many extra payments will you take?

With this change, you will make 13 donations per year instead of 12. This means one additional contribution annually, allowing us to provide more support to children, wherever the need is greatest.

Can I stay on a monthly donation cycle?

Yes, if you prefer to continue donating monthly, you can opt out of the four-weekly schedule. Please contact our Supporter Care team on 1800 76 00 11 or by emailing supporter.care@savethechilden.org.au, and we will happily arrange this for you.

Can I adjust my regular donation amount up or down?

We understand that financial situations change, and we appreciate every contribution. If you need to adjust your donation amount or schedule, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

How can I update my credit card or direct debit details?

To update your payment details, please call our Supporter Care team at 1800 76 00 11.

How can I update my contact details?

You can update your contact details by calling us at 1800 76 00 11, emailing supporter.care@savethechildren.org.au or submitting an online form.

Does another payment per year incur additional administration costs to process?

Yes, it does add a small administration cost to process. Save the Children will continue to cover the administration costs for this additional gift. If you chose to  cover the processing fee for your donation at sign up, you will continue to incur this small charge on this additional donation. However, this is completely optional.
