Celebrating reading and imagination
At the heart of the morning was the simple joy of reading. Families gathered in the cosy reading corner to share Peppa’s favourite adventures together – turning pages, laughing at familiar moments, and discovering new ones.

Books really do have the power to spark imagination and build language and learning skills from the earliest years. Moments like this show why early literacy is so important: every child deserves the chance to learn, dream, and grow.
Morning tea and community connection
After story time came a chance to relax and connect. Families shared morning tea, chatted over yummy snac ks, and watched their children play together.

The craft tables were buzzing with creativity, with kids colouring Peppa pictures, building towers out of blocks and proudly showing off their creative creations. It was a celebration of community, connection, and childhood fun.
Celebrating partnership and purpose
This joyful morning was made possible through a wonderful partnership between Hasbro, MerchantWise, The Entertainment Store, and Penguin Random House Australia . Together with Save the Children, these partners share a belief that every child deserves to learn and play in safe, supportive environments. The event was about fun, and about showing how imagination and reading can help children build brighter futures.
Thank you and looking ahead
A huge thank you to every family who entered the raffle, to our amazing partners, and to everyone who helped make this special day possible. Every laugh, every photo, and every story shared helps shine a light on the importance of early learning and the joy of reading.
Events like this remind us why we do what we do: to make sure every child, everywhere, has the opportunity to learn, play, and reach their full potential.
