SHIFT equips young people with the skills, tools, mentorship and networks to lead change in their own communities.
With 100 campaigns in 22 countries, SHIFT is helping young changemakers design and scale solutions that matter. From city streets to rural villages, from climate justice to girls’ rights, young people use SHIFT to drive change where they live.
Our approach
SHIFT supports the full journey from strategy to impact and long-term growth – connecting activists to leading organisations, providing support from mentors and experts, co-designing everything together, and guiding them through three powerful phases to ensure lasting impact:

Phase 1 – Acceleration: The critical boost every movement needs to plan and launch an effective campaign.

Phase 2 – Consolidation: Collaborating with our global network to refine approaches and pinpoint improvements.

Our experts support young people to develop campaigns that will drive change that lasts.
We also offer SHIFT Next – a curated marketplace where young people can pitch the next phase of their advocacy and donors and allies can help fund and elevate the campaigns. Giving young leaders greater control over their sustainability and impact is a win-win: youth lead on their own terms, and supporters back what already works.
